What Is Endoscopic Decompression?

Endoscopic Decompression is the reduction of lumbar segmental pain by removal of causal pain sources whilst preserving motion at the segment by mobilization of the nerve from the annulus, enlargement of the foramen, removal of disc compression, removal of osteophytes impacting upon the nerve, removal of ligaments tethering or impinging upon the nerve, shrinkage of redundant annulus and removal of perineural scarring or granulation tissue.
